This week's listings show AI moving from a tool choice into operating work.

1. Lockheed Martin is hiring for AI adoption from inside the AI Center. The role owns content for the internal LAIC website, builds communications standards and workflows, and creates training materials that help employees put AI tools to work.

2. BCG is hiring for the part after digital products ship. The role sits with product owners and agile squads, but the comms brief includes stakeholder assessment, adoption risk, behavior KPIs, and user-framed communication plans.

3. Ralph Lauren puts employee communications next to the AI Center of Excellence. In a transformation role tied to Project Cross-Stitch, Change Management, and the PMO, the job is to help employees understand how new systems change the way work gets done.
   

Ethan McCarty at Integral calls communicators the "connective tissue" between AI strategy and adoption.

Paul Gennaro, New York Life's CCO, gets more operational in Ragan. After 22 months of AI implementation, his team found the work changed when AI entered everyday workflows and measurement moved beyond tool use.

BCG's 2026 research adds context for why jobs like these are appearing: 68% of comms leaders called their function an AI laggard, and 35% named operating-model design as the biggest obstacle.
