Insights

  • “I have never been to a place, anywhere in this country or the world, where just showing up isn’t a sign of respect," says JPMorganChase CEO Jamie Dimon in this Wall Street Journal article (sub required) about his tradition of "summer bus tours" to visit Chase branches across the US. Looking at this from an IC lens, two things stood out to me: 1) the enduring value of the leadership site visit/listening tour; and 2) another reminder that the best ideas for performance improvement usually come from the people closest to the work.

  • Maybe you have tried vibe coding. But what about vibe analytics? This article from MIT makes a case for taking an AI-powered exploration approach to your data. I see some great use cases for comms measurement and analysis with this.

  • "Not all resume hacks help you get hired," says recruiter Jan Tegze in this helpful article on the viral job tips that do more harm than good and how to spot advice you shouldn't trust.

  • "So I just slayed a fire elemental yesterday," says Hasbro internal comms manager Dylan B. in this quick (and fun) video about his journey at the company.
