That question in a LinkedIn post from Ragan Editorial Director Allison Carter sparked a lot of interesting (and funny) replies about how companies name their intranets. My favorites: two NBA teams figuring out their intranets have the same name, a Thoreau-inspired name, and "Josh's personal Google Drive.”

  • What does it take to drive transformational behavior change at scale? A group of McKinsey transformation leaders answer that question in this excellent podcast episode, with many comms-specific touchpoints (and, importantly, why comms alone doesn’t lead to sustained behavior change).

  • 63% of employees considering leaving their jobs cite poor internal comms as a contributing factor according to a new survey from Staffbase, which includes several other data points worth reviewing. Check it out!
