What to expect
Brent Bowen leads a workshop on finding a human narrative in policy reminders, benefits updates and system migrations. Greg Kotcher follows with work on adapting a core message for leadership emails, intranet posts, town hall scripts and frontline audiences, including how to edit with leaders while retaining their voice.
A panel with practitioners from Roku, Webster Bank, ECU Health and ServiceNow examines culture, purpose and honest messaging during change. On day two, Heidi Coryell Williams presents Clemson University’s redesign of its decentralized news site, covering content architecture, templates, accessibility repairs and the measures used to compare the old and new sites.
Other sessions cover using shared templates, storytelling frameworks, readership data and employee feedback to maintain writing standards across an organization. A closing panel considers writing skills, channel choices and measuring what employees respond to. The agenda includes Q&A on both days.
