What to expect
The programme includes a campaign inviting employees to identify a mystery executive from clues, an employee advocacy programme balancing authentic voice with brand guidelines, and UC Santa Cruz’s work on an internal Toolkit website. Other sessions examine collaboration through organisational change, rebuilding employee trust and helping executives communicate more consistently.
Group exercises cover mapping audiences, channels and key moments, and using live polling and peer exchange to develop two-way dialogue. AI sessions explore content creation, planning, employee listening and measurement; an audience-led panel takes questions on current IC challenges.
Workshops
The optional workshop day covers designing communication around employee experiences, writing in a human voice when using AI, building a communications operating model and reviewing organisational values. The experience-design workshop asks attendees to bring a current communication challenge and use an experience map to redesign one critical moment.
