The work

Campaign planning and day-to-day writing sit together: you’ll prepare daily news stories, leadership messages, newsletters and internal website content to support business objectives. The role also measures communications results and reports them to stakeholders and the wider team.

Taking that work through production means coordinating with marketing and social teams, designers, translators and internal stakeholders to plan, develop, finalise and distribute communications. You’ll also contribute ideas to team planning and work directly with senior leaders to deliver content.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
  • At least five years’ professional communications experience, including planning and supporting strategic communications campaigns.
  • Confidence working with and influencing leaders at different levels of the firm.
  • Strong organisation, articulation and attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate stakeholders’ needs and shift priorities as the day requires.

Skills

  • Clear communication of complex ideas, editing and proofreading, and sound judgement about delivering content across channels quickly.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and managing several projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of communications measurement tools, tactics and benchmarks.
  • Experience planning live or virtual events.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI tools and their use in communications.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior employees.
