Who it suits and what you’ll work on
The course combines demonstrations and personal practice with AI tools, looking at the work before and after writing a prompt.
You’ll use real examples of prompt libraries to identify priority uses for AI in communications and work with peers to start reusable prompt templates you can refine over time.

- Design prompts Improve the inputs and use a seven-category framework to design prompts. A live demonstration shows how a stronger prompt changes the result.
- Review and refine the result The workflow continues through reviewing AI outputs, iterating for quality and integrating the results into communications work.
- Make prompts reusable Explore how shared prompts can carry risk controls and help people apply the same practices consistently. The workshop covers building and maintaining a prompt library.
Preparation and follow-up
Platform access opens approximately one week before the course, with resources and short pre-reading activities. Allow additional time for preparation and follow-up alongside the live session.
Follow-up materials are provided, with an optional quiz to earn a Certificate of Completion.
