Full time
$100,000–$115,000

The work

Reporting to the Change, Learning and Communications Senior Manager, IT Planning and Project Services, the analyst works with project managers, business leads and technical specialists to understand how technology changes affect employees. They map stakeholders, assess impacts and develop and execute change, communications and training plans aligned with project milestones.

The analyst represents end-user needs in project discussions and works with project teams and business leaders on readiness gaps, resistance and adoption risks. Communications run from leaders through managers and supervisors to frontline employees. The role creates talking points, FAQs and project updates, selects channels for office and operational teams, and adapts communications using feedback, including where employees have limited computer or email access.

The analyst assesses training needs by user group and process, creates task-based guides and job aids, and delivers workshops and system walkthroughs using instructional design and adult learning principles. Feedback and participation help shape support through go-live and after implementation, as employees adopt new processes.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience delivering change management, communications and training initiatives, including technology implementations or business process changes.
  • Experience managing change from stakeholder identification and impact assessment through planning, delivery and post-implementation adoption support.
  • Change management experience in manufacturing, logistics, airport or transit operations, financial institutions or retail, particularly across leadership-to-frontline audiences; alternatively, strong change management delivery experience in IT.

Skills

  • Ability to explain technical change clearly, facilitate training and stakeholder communications, build relationships and influence without direct authority.
  • Practical experience developing training content and delivering learning activities, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables and address adoption risks.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting distributed teams, operational sites or frontline employees with varied digital access and technical proficiency.
  • Experience supporting implementation, adoption or end-user training for enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, ServiceNow, Oracle or Salesforce.
  • A change management certification such as Prosci is an asset; practical delivery experience is essential.
