Boston Consulting Group
Global Change & Communications Specialist – Digital Products
Boston Consulting Group’s Change Management and Communications Centre of Expertise supports the digital products employees use. This specialist joins a surge capacity team, moving between product portfolios as priorities change. The role covers company-internal marketing, communications and change management, rather than client-facing work.
The work
Working with agile product teams, you will execute change approaches that help employees adopt digital products and embed new behaviours. That includes assessing stakeholders and change impacts, planning engagement and ways to mitigate risks, and developing training and enablement approaches and content. You will also develop and deliver strategic, user-focused communications plans, and write, review and send communications.
As demand shifts, the specialist engages portfolio teams on their priorities and roadmaps and ramps up quickly to support them. The role also involves tracking change and behavioural measures, managing expectations across workstreams, building relationships with new teams, and adapting to their working norms. Partners include product leads and owners, change and enablement specialists, designers, vendors, consulting teams and functional leaders.
The team shares lessons and practices across the Centre of Expertise. The specialist also draws on foundational behavioural science to identify upcoming changes and the behaviours needed for adoption.
