The work

Produce weekly emails, share business updates and lead internal campaigns. The role also advises senior leaders on colleague announcements and supports the development and delivery of the internal communications strategy.

Content ranges from articles, photography and video to push notifications. Working with the GrunHub developer, you will support maintenance of the platform and communications across digital and physical channels, including screens, posters and colleague materials. Graphic designers help develop visual assets for those channels.

Analytics, employee feedback, surveys and on-site engagement inform improvements. Monthly reports share performance insights and recommendations.

Beyond colleague communications, the role supports the Sales and Client Engagement teams with marketing activities, including customer events such as Waste Awareness Days, and maintains stocks of promotional materials and sales literature.

Requirements

Grundon lists the following in its candidate profile:

• A degree in Marketing or a related subject, such as PR, Communications, Creative Writing or Media Studies (BA, BSc or equivalent).
• 1–2 years’ experience in internal communications, PR or a marketing or communications-related role.
• GCSE English at Grade C/3 or above. A Level English is desirable.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
