Internal Communications, Lead (Individual Contributor)
This senior individual contributor owns the strategy and execution of Motive’s internal communications programme, translating company priorities and organisational changes into messages for employees. Motive makes tools for organisations that run physical operations.
The work
The role owns the internal narrative and communications cadence, including planning and producing All Hands and other company-wide forums. That work runs from executive talking points through delivery, alongside writing CEO and leadership messages and advising executives on their voice and presence.
The lead owns Slack, email and video communications, targeting messages to different audiences and evolving the channel mix, formats and cadence. They will build Motive’s internal video capability as part of a video-first approach, producing executive updates, milestone recaps and stories. Surveys, pulse checks and forums provide feedback on employee sentiment and communication effectiveness, informing changes to the programme.
Working with Corporate Communications, Legal and People, the lead develops plans for sensitive or high-stakes announcements and helps align internal and external messages, so employees hear key news before or alongside external audiences.
