The work

Working alongside experienced communications professionals on real briefs, you’ll create and edit press releases, social media content and internal newsletters. You’ll also support the development and delivery of internal communication strategies, work with teams across SAP and its executives on key messages, and help keep employees informed and engaged.

The placement includes UK and global communications work. You’ll use SAP’s AI tools, including Joule, its generative AI assistant, to support content creation and ideas. You’ll also explore how SAP communicates its AI capabilities to customers and stakeholders and contribute to that story.

Requirements

The placement is for a penultimate-year student in any degree discipline. SAP looks for:

• An interest in how organisations communicate with their audiences.
• Confident writing, with attention to detail, tone and clarity, and a broad understanding of communications as a business function.
• Some experience of social media, content creation or media, gained through study, personal projects or work.
• The ability to manage your own workload and collaborate across teams, including with senior stakeholders.
• A willingness to experiment with AI tools and take responsibility for their outputs.
