Internal Communications Specialist
Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture, Arts, and Design needs a part-time specialist to produce its regular faculty and staff newsletters and support selected internal communications. The role reports to the college’s Director of Marketing and Communications.
The work

The specialist manages newsletter production and distribution in Adobe Campaign, coordinating submissions from college leadership, schools and administrative units. They write and edit content, gather and prepare photographs and other visual assets, and build, test and distribute each issue. They maintain the schedules, templates and archives that keep production moving. Content should be clear, accessible and aligned with college and university editorial and brand standards. Basic analytics inform potential changes to content, format, workflow and timing.
