Transformation Communications Lead
Help Salesforce’s Experience Design organisation navigate its transition to AI-native design and research, shaping what the change means for designers and researchers while it is still being defined.
The work
Working with executive sponsors and design programme managers, you will co-define the impact of two to three priority transformation programmes. Facilitate structured sessions and produce change summaries, such as heat maps and alignment briefs, to align leadership before changes ship. Programme leads and executive sponsors use the impact analysis to inform their decisions.
Build and run readiness programmes for different cohorts, tailoring messages to each and tracking their progress from awareness to active adoption. You will also co-own the end-to-end reinforcement system for each programme.
Shape the shared language around how the organisation and its work are evolving. Write communications that help individual contributors and managers understand what changes in people, process and technology mean for their day-to-day practice. Experience Design includes product designers, UX engineers and architects, researchers, operations and storytellers.
Qualifications
Requirements
- At least seven years in change management, organisational communications or internal communications in a matrixed technology organisation, with accountability for programme adoption outcomes.
- Experience developing audience-segmented communications plans, with distinct messages for different groups, such as individual contributors, managers and senior leaders, within the same programme.
- Experience working with senior or executive stakeholders to assess and define organisational change, including written impact assessments, alignment briefs or stakeholder maps used in programme decisions.
- Ability to hold a point of view under pressure, including challenging a programme’s framing, redefining what a transformation is or redirecting communications when the proposed story is not what people need to hear.
- Experience setting adoption or behaviour-change baselines, tracking progress and using data to adjust communications strategy.
- Applied professional experience with a recognised change management framework, such as Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, McKinsey Influence Model or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting AI adoption, digital transformation or technology workforce transitions, including familiarity with tool-driven role change and its communications.
- Experience establishing a change communications practice, programme or function where one did not previously exist.
- Experience in or alongside a design, UX research or product organisation; familiarity with design and research roles and workflows is a plus.
- A portfolio of written communications, programme playbooks, manager briefings, change narratives or stakeholder impact assessments showing range and quality.
