The work

Working with leaders and teams across the organisation, the adviser develops and implements plans aligned with business priorities, recommends approaches for different audiences and turns complex issues into clear messages. The role supports strategic projects and transformation initiatives, bringing communication, engagement and change management into the work.

The adviser creates content for different audiences and platforms, helps improve internal channels such as the intranet and newsletter, and measures results to recommend improvements. The role also develops initiatives to build employee engagement and a sense of belonging, recognises teams and their work, coordinates internal events and helps bring organisational culture to life across offices and sites.

Requirements

• A university degree in communications, public relations or a related field.
• Approximately five years’ experience in internal or organisational communications.
• Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies and plans, and experience managing internal communication platforms.
• Bilingualism, with very good English for collaboration with colleagues and partners across Canada. The workplace is French-speaking.
• Strong understanding of organisational issues and stakeholder management, with strong analysis, synthesis, recommendation, writing and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and manage several files simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
