Business Communications Lead Analyst
Cigna Global Health Benefits supports globally mobile populations accessing healthcare across locations. Its Business Communications Lead Analyst connects employees and stakeholders with business priorities through content, leadership partnerships and measurement across internal and external channels.
The work
The analyst supports the development and execution of integrated communications strategies, working with business leaders and functional teams to turn complex information into clear, actionable messages. They drive the creation and delivery of content across internal and external channels, including digital and print, executive presentations, organisational announcements and leadership messaging.
The role manages plans, timelines, budgets and workflows, and coordinates reviews, approvals, quality assurance and distribution. Reports and dashboards help assess communication effectiveness, stakeholder engagement and other performance measures.
The analyst also leads or supports executive thought leadership content and works across the organisation to identify ways to improve communications and employee engagement. They contribute to continuous improvement by identifying new approaches, tools and communications strategies.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, employee communications or a related field.
- Experience developing, implementing and evaluating communications strategies in a complex, matrixed organisation.
- Experience working directly with senior executives and business leaders, and the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams and leadership levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication, editing, presentation, project management and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Analytical skills, including using data to measure communication effectiveness and inform decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other business communication tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and adapt quickly.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, business or a related field.
- Experience supporting global organisations or international business communications.
- Knowledge of executive communications, thought leadership, media relations or social media strategy.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance or health services.
- Familiarity with employee engagement, change management or internal communications programmes.
