Communications Senior Manager
Danone Canada’s Communications Senior Manager leads employee communications and engagement across the country, working with the Director of Communications to deliver the company’s communications strategy.
The work
The role develops the approach to engaging employees around Danone Canada’s culture, values and ambition, and puts its internal communications plan into practice. That includes creating employee content and working with stakeholders to reach the right audiences through the right channels. The manager also coordinates with global and regional teams.
Internal events are a significant part of the remit, from Danone Day to company-wide meetings, recognition events and other employee initiatives. Alongside this work, the manager supports selected external communications mandates, including corporate reputation, issues and crisis communications, and executive communications. The role also uses AI and digital tools responsibly to support content and communications effectiveness.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field, such as public relations or marketing communications.
- At least seven years of relevant communications experience.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills in English and French, with oral and written bilingualism.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with digital communications and AI-enabled tools.
