Internal Communications, GTM
Anthropic’s Internal Communications Manager partners with its go-to-market organisation, supporting the teams that sell and bring Claude to enterprises around the world.
The work
The role owns internal communications strategy for a GTM portfolio and advises the Chief Commercial Officer and their team on what to say and when. That includes drafting in leaders’ voices and managing one or two direct reports supporting the global GTM organisation.
The manager translates sales strategy and customer stories for employees across functions, while anticipating communications around launches, customer wins, organisational change and external attention. The work also includes planning all-hands and AMAs, reducing noise in communications, and coordinating updates with the wider internal communications team.
Skills and experience
Anthropic describes a good fit as someone who can write and tell stories clearly in plain English, advise senior leaders, connect team updates to company strategy and exercise judgement about organisational culture. The role calls for a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience, in a relevant field demonstrated through coursework, training or professional experience. The years of experience required will depend on the internal job level.
Strong candidates may also bring 15 or more years in communications or an adjacent craft, experience in AI or other fast-moving technology organisations, or experience running internal communications programmes during rapid growth. Anthropic encourages applications from people who do not meet every qualification.
