The work

The intern will support communications for the US customer engagement transformation, working with colleagues in change management, programme management, strategy realisation and other functions. They will contribute to Human Health newsletters and quarterly messages, drafting content, sourcing stories and coordinating input and edits.

Employee engagement work includes preparing agendas, briefings and recaps for events, as well as supporting video shoots. The intern will also help develop content, promotion and toolkits for Global Diversity & Inclusion Experience Month, helping teams activate locally.

Research on change communications, employee experience and workplace AI adoption will inform the work. The role calls for an AI-first mindset across communications work, using generative AI tools for research, content development and collaboration. The intern will also help assess communications through listening channels and measures such as engagement data, survey results and sentiment. They will help turn recurring themes into recommendations for future communications. Maintaining transformation SharePoint sites is part of the role where timing and workload allow.
