Sobeys
Conseiller(ère), traduction et communications internes
Sobeys’ translation and internal communications adviser has primary responsibility for translation and linguistic services and acts as the company’s main contact for linguistic services. The role reports to the Director of Internal Communications.
The work
The adviser manages the relationship with an external translation provider, connecting it with internal teams and monitoring quality, deadlines and service levels. They help resolve issues and identify improvements, advise colleagues on language needs, review translated content when needed and maintain consistent terminology. They ensure adherence to linguistic requirements and company guidelines, and help improve processes and tools, including the responsible use of new technologies and AI.

They also attend to the quality, consistency and relevance of communications and adherence to company standards and guidelines. They also help plan corporate events, particularly in Quebec, coordinating logistics and communications before, during and after events.
