The work

Connect is the centrepiece of the role. The manager will oversee its project and content management as Accord develops it into a central communications platform for colleagues across Europe, North America, India and emerging markets. The role supports communications across a group that includes Intas and Accord Biopharma, with 26,000 employees worldwide.

Working with senior leaders across the organisation, the manager will develop timely content that supports business priorities and employee engagement. The wider programme includes executive communications, leadership updates, global town halls, business cascades and intranet content.

Requirements

• Degree education, ideally in communications, English or public relations.
• Substantial experience in internal, employee or corporate communications.
• Experience leading large-scale internal communications programmes in a global, multinational organisation.
• Experience managing digital internal communications channels, employee apps, intranet platforms or enterprise social networks.
• Strong project and programme management skills.
• Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Content creation, editorial and storytelling skills.
• Experience planning and delivering town halls, leadership communications and employee engagement programmes.

Preferred qualifications

• Additional languages beyond English are helpful but not essential.
• Pharmaceutical, healthcare or other regulated industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
