Communications Manager - BA Americas
Continental’s Communications Manager leads strategic and operational internal communications for the Americas region of its Tires group sector, with a strong focus on the regional headquarters in Fort Mill.
The work
The role combines regional communications strategy with hands-on delivery. You will develop plans and stories across channels, maintain timelines and project trackers, and anticipate risks and dependencies, including in crisis communications.
You will advise leaders on their communications, help align regional and global needs in both directions, and use KPIs and insights to improve communications. The role also manages agencies, vendors and content partners as needed, and works across functions, regions and cultures.
The role owns major employee teams, projects, events and leadership moments, including the US Corporate Social Responsibility team, All Employee Meetings and other regional leadership events. The employer lists the leadership level as “Leading Self”; the posting does not explain what ownership of the CSR team entails.
