Senior Manager, Internal Communications
Help Dow Jones leaders communicate with employees, customers, partners and media as part of its global corporate communications team. The role reports to the VP of Internal Communications.
The work
Lead internal change initiatives and advise business stakeholders so employees understand what is changing and what it means for them. Manage global campaigns from idea to execution and lead company-wide programming, including Global All-Hands and leader “ask me anything” events, with a focus on participation and engagement.
Create content for internal and external channels, including the intranet, e-newsletter, LinkedIn and Instagram, and adapt it across formats such as articles, video, press releases and infographics. The content spans Dow Jones’s news, consumer, enterprise, risk and energy businesses. Advise on employee communications and engagement technology to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- 10+ years of internal communications or relevant experience.
- Experience leading change in a matrixed organisation and developing and executing global campaigns.
- Strong writing and creative storytelling skills, with the ability to connect stories to business priorities and simplify complex content.
- Strong experience with video editing, AI tools and graphic design software.
- A data-led approach, including experience managing content calendars and dashboards.
- Strong project management skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
Preferred qualifications
- A reporting or journalism background.
- Global work experience.
- Communications agency experience.
