The work

The intern assists with publication of news across Private Wealth Management and drafts, edits and updates news items. Working with the PWM communications team, they also help research, write and implement internal stories, presentations and other communications.

The role includes coordinating and preparing for calls and meetings, maintaining the internal communications calendar and gaining exposure to and supporting strategic long-term communications planning. The intern collaborates with teams across Private Wealth Management and Marketing & Communications.

Skills and experience

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field, with anticipated graduation in May 2028 or later.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, associates and senior leaders.
• Writing, editing, proofreading and presentation design skills, including PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, attend to detail and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Motivation, proactivity, strategic thinking, a commitment to learning and contributing, and a commitment to excellent customer service for clients and associates.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with email tracking software, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office products and SharePoint is a plus.
• Prior office experience is preferred.
